My heart goes out to Josh and his family. He was truly a great person and one of the few people in school that I remember. These past few years I have been so rapped up in myself and getting my life in order that I did not even know that he was sick until it was to late. I feel so selfish and guilty that I did not make a concious effort to go and see him. I am in the Air Force defending our country now. I regret that I did not go see him before he passed. I will try my best to start associating with my classmates more often so this will never happen again. Justin

With that said, I raise my can of Tsingdao beer, and say Gumbai (cheers). My first clean story involves a disputed claim, but to some it is common knowledge that I brokered the deal that brought Josh and Megan together. It started in the Sullivan High School snack bar...Somewhere between standing in line making jokes, to the greasy pizza and soggy ham and cheese sandwich hand-off by Ms. Hovelman, to sitting at my table of cronies which included a new fish, Drew's sister, Megan...before David Ruble could bite the half his french fries and discard the uneaten half...I convinced Josh to accept and act on the crush from Megan. From that moment some unexplainable magic happened and Booger and Spoofman became an item.

This is my first but will not be my last posting on Josh's memory board. Some of the best laugh out moments in my life are with Josh my "Incognito Mosquito." Unfortunately, until Brady puts an 18 and over fire-wall on this site I cannot publicly share the best stories. What I do want say for this fist message as I write from across the Pacific Ocean in China. Megan, Madison, Mike, Robin, Jake, No matter on Sullivan soil or on the bustling streets of Shanghai...I remember my good friend Josh and celebrate the way his friendship and good nature has made me a better person.

Josh was truly an amazing person - from an amazing family. I met Josh through Jake, who was my best friend growing up. I used to call Jake at all hours of the night (Mike and Robin, 15 years later, I'm still sorry for waking you!!) and sometimes Josh would answer. When Jake was asleep, Josh and I would end up talking for hours. We became great friends. In high school, we played the drums together and had a blast. Then he met my best friend, Moogie (Megan). We were all friends and spent tons of time making great memories. These are memories that I will never forget. He was always such a caring and genuine person. And always up for a good laugh (we had many)! Josh was a wonderful person, and I still think of him constantly. Moogie, Killer (mike), Robin, and Jake, you are always on my mind, as is Josh. I'll never forget all the wonderful times we all spent together. His spirit touched us all, and he will never be forgotten!!!! We miss you, Josh!

Josh was always an amazing friend. He always smiled and seemed to enjoying life. I have been gone from home for a long time but can only imagine that Sullian is not the same without him. I am so sorry for his family and wife but know that he will always be smiling down on them.

Josh was my cousin so I remember alot about him. We had alot of fun together We had a really fun time when we went to a Rams Football Game. He came with me and we (fought)played. He was a really nice person and he got along with everyone. I really do miss him alot because we were kind of close. He was fun to play with when I was over at his house or when he was over at mine. He was friends with almost everyone he met. His wife (Megan) was a good supporter when he was really sick with cancer. She stayed with him and she helped him. She really did love him and she still does. What I really want to say is that who ever new Josh had a good friend but I had him as a cousin and it was fun when he was here, but i know that God just needs people at times, and I think God just needed a good person like Josh. I really do miss him though and I wish I could see him again soon but, I will see him when I die and go up to Heaven.

I have been very blessed in my life. God gave me two wonderful sons whom I love very much and have been very proud of. My main goal in life was to have children, watch them grow up to be loving individuals and allow me to always be a part of their life. I have all of that and more. Josh was beautiful, inside and out. He enjoyed the simple things in life and always took the time to listen to others. I was able to witness the love he had for Megan grow into something very beautiful and I will always be grateful for that. As brothers, Josh and Jake had a special friendship and it was fun watching the two of them together, even when they were fighting over video games! There was never a dull moment in our household. I am fortunate to have had the time I did with Josh and will keep the memories we shared with me forever!

When I was young and growing up out on Sherwood Lane, I didn't have any kids my age to have fun with. Then came along the Kaufman’s. They moved from Pacific and built right next door to us. Josh, Jake, Mike and Robin then became a big part of my life. Josh and I, being only 2 months apart in age, began a great friendship (he was more like a brother to me). For those that knew Josh, you understand what I mean when I say he brought a special excitement to life in all that he did whether he playing sports, spending time hunting or fishing, or being with his family and friends. To this day, I still find it difficult to imagine how things would be different if he was still here, but to be honest, all I have to do if close my eyes and Josh is there anytime! Josh was a great individual and I feel blessed to have known him.

What a wonderful person, I am really grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know Josh. I used to joke around with Jake, and tell him I wished that he was nice, like Josh :). I have never known anyone as caring and brave as Josh, and I will never forget him.

Josh was one of a kind!! The memorys I have of Josh is what keeps me going day after day. He was such a caring, loving person that could make anyone smile. The memorys that stay closest to my heart is the dimples on is face when he would smile and his wounderful personality!! Josh was not only my husband but my best friend. He is sadly missed.
